+1. The overarching plot was never what made mass effect. It was the stories of the characters.

Even the most humongous bastard player always lets garrus win that shooting contest in the citadel.

2 days in and that's a shoe-in for photo of the year

No kidding. At $2m a year I'd want to at least look young. He's spending all that money to look like a fairly well kept 47 year old.

But yes, I think we're at an impasse fundamentally

Have you seen the Syrian Salvation Army? Hardcore Islamists. Maybe better than Assad, maybe not, but still pretty damn worrying

Vietnam, Egypt, Libya, China, Cambodia, Syria, Chile, Afghanistan, Russia/USSR and the reign of terror would seem to go against that. Amongst countless others.

The majority of revolutions do not end well. The US war of independence was unusual.

I never said he was. You keep putting words in other's mouths.

All I am saying is that cheering on vigilante justice has historically led to shit like lynchings. Widespread violence has almost never made things better.

And I am a doc in the UK. I am very familiar with our system

Right, and I don't disagree, but it feels a bit like some people are cheering on the reign of terror at the moment.

If everything descends into vigilantism then history would suggest that the "justice" will be indiscriminate, poorly directed and motivated by whatever the prejudice of the day is.

Glad to see this perspective spreading a bit.

Regardless of your views on the deceased, vigilante murders is an absolutely terrible way of addressing societal grievances.

It felt like I was playing a different game to everyone else at the time. I kinda liked the aesthetic and the rail grinding business but other than that it was just more of the same.

Given that apparently there's an active coup taking place in Damascus at the moment I would assume so

More concerned that a bottle of gin is claiming to bring you "boundless longevity"

"can you make out all the shit I've bolted to my gun? They need to know that I'm a high speed low friction operator"

To be frank I rather doubt they want us back right now

As much as I'd love a rejoin movement to take off I don't think it's in the EUs interests to allow countries to exit, have a crack at going it alone and then rejoining if it all goes banana shaped.

Ralph looks too much like my actual dog, and as ridiculous as this sounds this is genuinely making me a bit sad
