Finally!!! One of the three great black-backed gull chicks I ringed last year on Horse Isle (Clyde) has been resighted & is doing well! It was spotted at the end of May in Ardglass Harbour. Another one was found dead on Islay after Storm Bert last year, so I'm very happy to see this record #seabirds

So I thought I'd contact the Glasgow Council's Parks department to report it, ask them to clear it and consider better signage about responsible bird feeding. I couldn't find any contact info for them, but I did come across this site: www.glasgow.gov.uk/birdfeeding. So I phoned the number given👇🏻 2/6

I've received something very similar from my MP, John Grady. But he completely ignored the CAN bill, which my email to him was about 🤡

the highlight of my week was doing a gull count last Sunday. we’ve got a team surveying various urban ponds in Glasgow over the winter to monitor black-headed gull movements. i was very happy to see 2EV1 on my site, for the first time since January. this one is a regular here! (1/2) #BirdingScotland
