Pam Bondi and Pete Hegseth have made stronger statements about the military's right to refuse illegal orders than I did. I'm glad that the 2016 version of Pete Hegseth understood the law and the UCMJ. I'm sorry that the 2025 version doesn't seem to care.

Everyone (esp media) pay attention. In 2021 almost every Republican attacked the Biden administration and State dept for being too slow in approving Afghanistan special visas as Afghanistan fell.

Now they are attacking Biden for doing what they asked him to do.

My 2 cents:

- Trump saw Mamdani’s meteoric rise. He beat everyone, including him and the oligarchs.

- Mamdani ran on affordability and fighting for the working class.

- Trump doesn’t care about either but he wants to be seen as such.

- Embracing Mamdani is his way of co-opting these issues.

I still can't get over how Trump just nuked their midterm strategy of using Mamdani as a boogeyman by pretty much endorsing him while looking like a kid meeting his favorite star athlete 🤣

What the hell: The US accidentally invaded Mexico on Monday, storming a beach and planting DoD “restricted area” signs claiming the land for “the commander,” and triggered a standoff with armed Mexican security forces, all because Trump’s government can’t even identify a border on a map. 🧵 1/

The question isn’t whether Piggy and his special friends are all over the Epstein files.

The question is what lengths will the DOJ go to in order to keep them shielded?

Piggy has signed off on the release of the Epstein files.

There is a loophole in the law that lets the DOJ withhold anything they deem is part of an active investigation.

It’s precisely what Piggy is counting on.

Trump didn’t need a discharge petition to release the MLK Jr., JFK, or Earhart files.

So why are the Epstein files the one set he refuses to touch?

So at the beginning of Nov Congress would have been paid, unless they specifically had their pay check held.

I would argue they should donate it because they haven’t worked.

Maybe a good question for reporters to catalog?
