I have instant like of the new Superman movie. It could be lackluster, but the fact that Gunn acknowledges the inherent politicalness of Superman's story makes it a 10/10 for me.

We validate our procedure using the US Supreme Court, where a consistent measure has existed for decades, and show that opinion language has a clear ideological component that is measurable. As you can see, the measures match up fairly well. First time I've gotten an R^2 in the 90s!

Roberts makes it short & sweet that he (& the majority) agreed with the district court judge in re: USAID contract payments. But what's really fascinating is the opening line of Alito's dissent. As a measure of ideology, this swings HARD arguing for unilateral purse-string control for the executive.

We found that, yes, judges make networks, and these networks seem to follow familiar patterns of professionalism we would expect from 'collegial courts.'

The third thing, and this IS a joke..is that I am sad to announce I am retiring this folder of pictures. It will be shelved along with my folder of "Weird pics of Paul Ryan", "John Boehner tries to hold in a fart", "Weird Uncle Harry Reid," and of course "Evil Villain Trump"
