From what I've read, it applies to an aspect ratio, not necessarily the screen size? I need to read more on this, as there have been a few versions of The Shining released with different aspect ratios. It could also be a me problem!

I don't ever experience that. I always feel an incredible amount of closure at the end of a concert--so much so that I usually take a long break from the artist.
