Same HDHCP blues over here. It cost $21,000 to insure my family. We will end our tenure with ACA after 4 years and will be holding $8,000 in debt.
Why is this not being called a tax increase?

The main reason I never wanted to use it was mostly because of my high deductible and OOP max. Paid $21 Large this year, and incurred $9 Large in medical debt on top of all that.

Yep. And, not only that, but we also have $8000 in med debt from our HDHCP that costs $21gr per year in premiums (knee surgery, ER visit). Nothing like paying more for less.

I’ve never had a senate Democrat represent me during 30 years in Utah. Yet, I still feel betrayed.
Those people, they’ll lose on their next reelection. Then they’ll get a cushy private sector gig, and we will haunt them the rest of their days.
