Time for a cuteness tax. Right after we adopted Kona, we got slammed by two massive snow storms. That was when we learned he loved snow and could spend all day catching snowballs if we let him.

I'm too tired to be angry & too heartbroken to be disappointed this morning. So, let's post something fun. Once upon a time, I used to post uber-nerdy things about Supergirl. This was one of the hellsite posts I saved because it made me laugh. I'm such a color theory dork.

No ornament close-ups today. Just a full shot for full effect. Lots of Snoopy, Scooby, Muppets, Wonder Woman, plus ornaments I hang from my mom's collection. I should hang more of hers, but the ones I choose for now are the ones I remember and cherish the most.

Today is King Kona's ninth Gotcha Day (the vets thought he was 2ish when we adopted him). We've been through a lot with our beautiful boy, but just look at that punim. Totally worth it all 💜🐾

Next-to-final phase complete on my Twitter shutdown. I just pulled all the Kona pics I'd posted there. So...methinks it's time for a pawsitive feed re-balance.

I'm trying my best to not just rage-post here. I want to remember there is beauty and kindness still, regardless of this train wreck we're all being forced to survive (again). So, I'm going to post Kona pics as payment for whenever I think I need to rebalance my posts more positively.

My wife politely requested that I corral my collectibles into one space (preferably in an inconspicuous place 😆). I'll have to snap some shots next time I go into the basement to my "nerd room," but these two items stay with me in the computer room where I work ❤️💙

Time to move on to better things. I promise it's me. I'm doing my best at life, but I'm still a little spotty in my focus and presence. However, I hope to be more present here than on the hell site. Here, have this photo of King Kona as my contribution to making Blue Sky a better place.
