All the usual women’s roles, most of which I actually like. Love a good chat and a nice meal. Do a bit of writing and some bus driver training. 2024 was my last season doing B&B after 38 years! Going to do large-group (up to 12) self-catering house in ‘25.

Just finished series 4 of Slow Horses, and I loved it. Filmmakers use a colour palette in set design and colour grading to give the film an overall theme. Once you notice it you can’t miss it. I’ll just say TEAL is a very common TV design palette, and they use it liberally. 👀

When we renovated our old cottage in 1986/7, we ran the power line underground from the pole on the road to our ESB meter box. It has never failed in the 39 years since then. Every other line around us has let us down at one time or another, but not that one. Bury it @esbnetworks.bsky.social

This is the preacher who praised Trump (and the Lord) at yesterday’s inauguration. Seems he found salvation through Crypto. Land of opportunity indeed. I didn’t follow him back. I blocked, then unblocked to see if I’d imagined it. And he came straight into my DMs. I must need to change my settings.

Are they though? It seems they’re incarcerated by California’s Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Wouldn’t that mean they’re State prisoners? (I’m in Ireland, but lived in LA for 18 years, long ago)

Look what I got myself for Christmas! This is an upgrade after 30 years of back-to-back stainless steel catering tables in the middle of the kitchen. I couldn’t imagine a top other than stainless though 😂

It’s like it’s hanging by a thread somewhere, and fading in and out. The Fairy lights are still on but struggling. I’ve unplugged everything that hates half power - fridge, freezer, TVs, printer, WiFi router.

Most of the men in their 40s-60s who follow me, and whose profiles are anodyne enough to convince me to follow back, are slipping straight into my DMs. Common on the other site. I have no idea what they think they’ll gain. They should know that, even though I’m 72, I’m neither wealthy nor an idiot.
