I remember not being allowed to wear a uniform around DC right after 9/11, and when the DC sniper was prevalent, but other than that, never had any concerns or issues.

Going to spatchcock it and smoke it on the grill. No more oven time for turkeys in my house. Did it last year, and it was the best turkey I'd ever had.
