💙 Excited to have participated in this dynamic wildlife research alongside Martin et al.(2025) in Yosemite NP. By our side when we snapped this pic? Our cowoofer, Filson. 👇🏽 We're grateful to his nose for all the data he helped detect!

Look what Rogue Ranger found during his wildlife detection surveys! Our dog teams follow the clues to find the data, and sometimes it leads us to fun field finds like this elk shed.

And can we get some Paws Up for our retired and semi-retired crew??! 😍 These pups may have slowed down, but they ♥️ still love their "job" for #wildlife, and will assist in gentle detection projects. 👉🏽 🐛🦋🐝🐢

🧪 This is *why* our Wildlife Detection Dogs work so hard to detect data of endangered species... It's all about the 💩!

Just got our 1st call, likely not the last: one of our wildlife projects is at risk. We rescue shelter 🐕, who 💕 🥎, to find endangered species & support noninvasive wildlife research. That's it. We don’t ask for much. Just the chance to help our natural world. Uncertain times ahead. 😔💙🌎

It was a very Rogue Year in Wildlife Detection: 2024 was (bio)diverse!

We're grateful to our "pawsome" collaborators for their dedication to noninvasive wildlife research. Here's looking at you 2025 (& all the species our #ConservationK9s will sniff for).

Retired Conservation Dog Pips, living his best life by the fire. 🐾🔥

After 15 years of service, he deserves all the naps. 💛 Among his achievements? Finding threatened Oregon Silverspot larvae—tinier than a grain of rice—after 40 years unseen in the wild. 🌼

Sweet dreams, Pips. ✨🐶 #WildlifeHero

#DetectionTeam Juno & Stern just wrapped up black 🐻 surveys in Michigan w UT State Univ in collaboration w MI DNR. Let's give the team 3 "awoos" for their hard work. They braved frosty mornings, camping in the 🥶, & long surveys in search of data (💩). Samples have been sent to the lab for analysis! 💪🏿
