I like my fountain drink orders the same way I like my immigration enforcement.

Easy on the ICE.

Had a meeting where we discussed items in upcoming NEA grant applications, and in short, it's horseshit.

"Obedience in advance only feeds authoritarianism." Wholeheartedly agree.

My wife and son have been out of town since Saturday, and I've been looking at photos of them every night to help me fall asleep. I can't wait for them to be home tomorrow

We went house hunting today. I like to name houses based on their memorable features. I named one house "Fridge Orgy."

Devan Kingsford wrote this for me at the Denver Phil concert tonight. It's from the perspective of our five month old son to his mom.

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

I think my favorite part about coming to Bluesky is discovering Colorado's meteorologist community.

They get so excited over things like this, and it brings me so much joy. Not to mention I get to learn a little along the way.
Fascinating!

It's currently 48° atop Lookout Mountain (7300')...<2 miles and 1700' below in Golden, it's 21°.

27° temp difference in less than 2 miles! The shallow, Arctic air can't travel up into the foothills.

To see is perilous becuase it presents you with a choice. Will you find an excuse to return home to your cosy hobbit hole, or will you carry on towards the Slopes of Doom? It’s good to be informed, but don’t linger here. Let the things you are reading and hearing and watching prompt you to action.
