What a fool, 3 minutes per game.

You obviously don’t talk about the Arsenal game, so it’s 3 minutes 20 seconds per game.

United got 2 free kicks for Gyokeres standing in front of the keeper when he went to play quickly - I’ve never seen that given as a free kick before.

Is this part of the new rule about the keeper having 8 seconds to release it, and won’t this slow the game down rather than speed it up as intended?

I won tickets to a women’s World Cup final screening with free food and drink, and watched a World Cup game with Ray Parlour, with free food and drink (and got a free shirt) out of my Arsenal rewards. I reckon I’ve had my money’s worth, but all only really available to local fans.

I liked this, but I’d have liked it more if you’d said which team was scoring the two goals.

I'm using the same phrasing while refreshing the ticket exchange as we speak.

The closest a Real Madrid player has got to him so far.

I also have "ganting" down as meaning disgusting. That tastes ganting etc. West Lo'.

Just run some of the cutaways from season 2 of the wire - no one's gonna know.

I don’t think the system really suits Martinelli, and his best performances often seem to come in spite of how we play. I think he’s been written off by parts of them fan base, but when we needed a bit of a spark tonight, he gave us it.

The question every cabinet member should be asking - AITA?

But when price is the stick, as it always is when there’s pressure on supply, only the poor pay it.

No point asking a polling question that says “would you cut back your meat intake by 50%” if in the real world cutting down production by 50% leads to price hikes that mean you can’t afford any.

How do we make sure producing less and everyone cutting back a bit doesn’t become rich don’t cut back at all and poor are priced out?

Lots of the resistance to net zero comes from a place of “why should I if they won’t?”, whether it’s foreign emissions or private jets.

They can drink outside the ground up to kick off and they can drink right after full time. The debate is whether or not fans should be allowed to have one pint in the 15 minute half time break (ten minutes queueing!).

How does one pint in 2 hours impact public disorder? Why doesn't it with rugby?

I will listen to that. I'm sceptical they're going to be moaning about how tired they are of Arteta, or suggesting he's some sort of cheerleader for raising morale as opposed to one of the best managers in football, but I will listen - as I do every week - and see.

He's my favourite character in any TV show. I think the most difficult thing about being a parent is coming up with new ways to make your kid laugh and he always delivers. "Walk straight" is a firm favourite.

I think all you can ask of a manager, when there are half a dozen teams spending hundreds of millions of pounds every year to compete for one title, is that we are competitive, consistent and that if the margins go your way you are in a position to win the league. That’s where we are.
March 10, 2025 at 12:14 PM
They won more games than the invincibles last year btw.

But also, football is hard because other teams don’t want to lose either.
March 10, 2025 at 12:05 PM
We don’t/shouldn’t rely on winning to nil, but other teams have to rely on that because they know that if we score they won’t score 2. That’s why no one attacks us and we struggle to break down teams with 11 behind the ball. If you’d rather go back to basketball games with Emery you’re on your own.
