The plc company made it quite difficult to vote at all. (I voted the week before as I suspected that would be the case). It looks like perhaps 5% of the fan shareholders voted. The objective must be to have a sustained campaign over a period of months to increase fan shareholder involvement.

At the Women’s game today there were 2 security men at the gate. I said to 1 “It’s a shame that we now spend more on security than on the team”. (We’ve gone from Champions League final 16, to 4th or 5th in Scotland). He said “We’re protecting you”. I replied “Who from? The Directors?” He laughed.

I must say that this afternoon I thought I ought to possibly double my (relatively small) shareholding. The Celtic directors were so unbelievably poor today that I think it inevitable that they have a limited lifespan.
