Got my 74007 today, lovely loco

That looks good. A working 00 scale solari board would be even better🤣 Have you considered finding a photo of a solari and printing / scaling it to fit the departure board you have there?

You’ve still got a way to go to collect a model of all 512 locos🤣 I must admit they’re not my favourite class of loco but I do have 9 of them, although I think that’s my collection of 47s complete now. Here’s recent arrival 47745 with a PCV set at my Jesworth station

Interesting photo, was it running on diesel or electric power there?

By coincidence I’m watching a recent cab ride over the line on a service train. It’s on the excellent Rail Relaxation YouTube channel, one of my favourite channels at the moment

Looking good, that scene is coming along nicely

You can never have too many of your favourite locos 😄 weren’t there 512 class 47s built so you’ve got a long way to go to collect models of them all 🤣

Glad you both had a great time. Reminds me of the best concert we’ve ever been to, Bon Jovi outdoors at Milton Keynes Bowl 30 years ago now. My wife was (and still is) a bigger fan than me but it was a fantastic experience

Glad you had a good time, must be 40+ years since I was last there. I walked on the pier and then along the coast to Shoeburyness and took the train back to London. Class 302s all the way then

Thanks for the info, I shall try that. Need to find some suitable streets with tram tracks, Nottingham or Sheffield probably

Looking good. You have given me the inspiration and impetus to work on my own street scene. Just needs a backscene now

Nice locos 👍 Do you have a crossover so incoming locos can run round the train?

I found this picture of the poor bus (the blue one) having a well-earned siesta when it eventually arrived at the volcano crater. The driver had to turn the aircon off on the way up to get a few more horsepower to the wheels

We went up there in a tour bus a few years ago, the poor thing sounded like it was going to conk out at any moment as it went ever slower and slower uphill. At one point we were being overtaken by cyclists🤣

Very hard to choose, I’ve got that same 37423 as you and 37402 in large logo blue. I think I’d go with the metals on a freight train and large logo on passenger

Great photo and a classic album. If I remember correctly, the pig’s cable broke and it floated off across London

Looks good, that will go well with your trans-pennine coaches. I’ve got that loco as well, I’ve just fitted a sound chip to it and made some mods to the cab and tail lights so they can be controlled independently

I thought just the same Simon. I’d happily pay an extra couple of quid for a proper guide booklet with details about the layouts and the traders. Looking forward to seeing your video

I was just thinking the same thing…

Congratulations Connie on passing your probation.
I do like NET as it’s the nearest tram to where I live but I haven’t visited for a few years. Here’s a question for you, is the middle track at The Forest used in regular service or just for disruptions?

Great video Simon, I like your voice-over giving more details about the layouts

Love an ALn668 ❤️❤️

Looking really good, are you planning to get some miniature TVs and lighting to go inside?
January 2, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Somehow 4 new locos fell into my shopping basket as well 😂 so there will be plenty of choice to haul the wagons
