As a Belgian, I believe the money should go to the front. I just can't agree it's fair to put such a burden solely on one member (or lux/fr in a lesser degree, if they're releasing theirs too) and I think that's finally sinking in. I really hope it goes through.

I think it's disgraceful to malign Belgium over this; I'm sure it seems like an easy decision when only one small country has to take the risk. All we're asking is that if a judge decides the funds are to be unfrozen, we get guarantees that the whole EU helps out; otherwise Belgium is finished.

It's going to be tough though and any internal division will be exploited; with such a big diverse country there's plenty.

Not to mention the claims to the oil production once things stabilize... Sorry "if" things stabilize.
