The man is speaking as the rep. of NATO, not as a European. His organisation and personal legacy dissolve if he doesn't do everything in his power to keep the US in. I disagree with it and his statement, but it is his job.

I'm so intrigued with Syria right now. This is such a blow to Russia and I'm reading everywhere about refugees that want to go back and rebuild, which is how it should be.

Gawd I hope the newly enlightened islam rebel group there isnt a facade and that Turkey doesn't try to kneecap the Kurds.
