Well done to #Trump for placing higher tariffs on India due to purchasing Russian oil. We need much more of this and we need the #USA to not sign any trade deals with the child killer Putin.

Israel has a long history of killing journalists, and since long before the war in Gaza. Netanyahu has zero tolerance of truth and regards those that spread It as legitimate targets.

Nigel Farage has cost the UK people 100bn in lost GDP and 42bn PER YEAR in lost taxes. I never thought the British people would continue to support the Farage Tax which means they now have worse schools, hospitals, roads and social care. If you know anyone who votes Farage please thank them.

Sad to see the end of #Skype , although I had stopped using it after my mum died, I have many happy memories of it. It kept our family together for about 13 years after I left my homeland! Thanks!

So Skype is officially dead. It’s funny I still used it to talk to a few ppl at times. Last week YES LAST WEEK I the first image and cackled. Oh you want feedback 4 days before you shut down? Really? Which sums up Skype really. Behind the curve, no clue, truly self inflicted problems. Anyway it ded.

When I look at the #USA right now I see them following the same playbook as #Farage and #Johnson. Their supporters regularly threatened opponents, threatened the judiciary via the press and went after their opponents. #Johnson was eventually brought down by his own side who were sick of the lies.

BBC World News has now killed off the two biggest and best shows it had, Hardtalk and Dateline London. These two shows together were by far the most insightful shows. These were the two shows I actually looked forward to watching and that I made a point of watching! @stephensackur.bsky.social

@stephensackur.bsky.social as a British ex-pat (now for nearly 20 years). Hardtalk and Dateline London were in my view by far the best two regular shows on BBC World News, as they had time to go into the detail with the right people and discuss topics in depth. Thanks for all the interviews!
