Not content with selling out Ukraine to Russia and thereby putting the security of America’s allies at risk, the Trump regime is trashing the reputation of US science and risking the health of its children by rewriting the CDC website to suggest a link between vaccines and autism

The classroom, the assembly hall … and the sky

Here's "Trump'll Nail Ya" - a song about the #BBC legal crisis (set to the tune of the shanty "Drunken Sailor") which created a big internal debate about what's a gremlin and what's a mogwai. 🎶⚓️

... fingers crossed for an apology but not a daft and unnecessary settlement ...

Phonics target, attendance target, more reading tests; so utterly depressing.
I’m not one for bleating, but the world has changed. Schools are unrecognisable from 10 years ago: complex and scary needs, apathy, illness. Sooner we understand this, the quicker we can address it.

The frustrating thing about this is that the idea is right, absolutely yes to more enrichment, but the idea that you just set targets to achieve it is the error. What this will mostly do is advantage schools in already advantaged areas because this stuff costs £!

I think something that's happened with the narrative around behaviour is that there's a lot of focus on 'managing' young people who find classroom environments challenging rather than thinking about how to adapt classroom environments ahead of time. The system would benefit from more flexibility. 🤷‍♀️
