Just a few things about me.
•I'm a film critic, anime lover, podcast guest, and massive horror fan.
•The little scamp in pic 1 is Eddie. He's very photogenic and greedy.
•Pic 2 is a checklist that I'm working through gifted by my fiancee. The majority not scratched off are waiting for rewatches.
PILLION is an excellent feature debut from Harry Lighton, pairing together Harry Melling and Alexander Skarsgård for a sub-dom rom-com. A gripping and sweet tale of consent and understanding our own sexual identities. See it when its out on November 28th.

I'm trying to catch up on 2025 releases, and SORRY, BABY absolutely blew me away. An empathetic tale of grappling with a horrific event, excelling with tone as it veers between hilarious and heartbreaking with ease. Eva Victor excelling as writer, director, and star, in this quietly powerful work.

If Quentin Tarantino can be hired for his acting, then you can make it through whatever troubles you are facing.
There's no sign of whatever he's directing next, but #QuentinTarantino has just landed what looks like his biggest acting role since From Dusk 'Til Dawn...

I didn't know which version of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS this square meant, so I watched both the 1956 and 1978 versions before scratching it off.
The '56 film is great, unsettling in its own right, but the '78 film is a terrifying masterpiece. A great way to spend a day.
