Yes! A happy Moosie #cat back in her favorite rocking chair basking in the warmth of the wood stove.

We ran out of wood. The rocking chair in front of the wood stove is empty. It's a one cat night and Moosie says I'm not allowed to roll over. #cats

Preparing for #caturday! 1) meow loudly and run to the basement stairs for a full body scratch and rub. 2) meow loudly and run to the living room and jump onto the armrest and then into the lap for a snooze. Moosie knows how to manipulate a weak mind. #cats

It quite chilly here in the heart of the Ozark Plateau. I built winter hotels for #birds to snuggle in on winter nights. They get used sometimes but not as much as I would like as it is fun to see how many birds pile out in the morning.

Resting on her favorite blanket on a warm lap is another Moosie favorite besides a good box. #cats

The serendipity of birding...we chose to visit Fort Pickens National Park in Pensacola FL to avoid icy roads and see more shore birds. Ebird indicated a Pacific Loon in the area! We wre able to spot it with our scope. It was with two common loons making the identification easier. #birds #lifer

We just picked a trail out of the blue at St. Marks, Fla and we ended up on a "Snipe hunt" and besides seeing several we also saw a wild Flamingo! There were several experienced birders in the know on the trail and all were generous with thier answers. #bird

Good morning sweet heart...she ran off as he was a little too intimadating. The courtship dance of Sand Hill Cranes we saw was more like an intimate ballet. #birds
