Totally off topic, but if you like Neko Case, her recent autobiography is really good IMO, I'm like 90% of the way done with it and really enjoying it!

OMG, I really did! I only knew a few songs but loved the set so much I'm excited to dive deep on them tomorrow when I'm doing a bunch of housework I've been procrastinating on! 😅💅💁♀️

Not trying to rub it in, but it was a hell of a set. I wasn't super familiar with their catalog but really enjoyed their set tonight.

The experience you're sharing in suggesting people sit down, though, is actually dangerous in 2025.
It's not ageist to say that 1960s civil rights tactics are outdated or need iteration.

I mean, I wouldn't sit there to take it either? If someone comes up to harass you and you're just standing there, consider their motives and if you want to keep standing there? I'd just walk away.
