It's our pleasure! Seeing people discover and experience these games for the first time is one reason why I love being a game preservationist. Greater accessibility is at the heart of preserving this history.

We currently use the DoJa SDK, an emulator developed by DoCoMo. It has a lot of issues with performance and emulating sounds, so projects like @squirreljme.cc aim to replace it eventually. Keitai World Launcher has the DoJa SDK bundled in it: keitaiarchive.org/downloads.html

@borman.bsky.social it didn't take us long to find a copy of the last remaining keitai sequel to The Missions!

Of the four 3D Biohazard feature phone games, only one (The Missions) was released internationally. Here's the preservation status of its keitai sequels:
- The Stories (trial version)
- The Episodes (full game minus extra characters)

It was for a score attack competition, I believe. And yes, all preserved keitai games are playable through Keitai World Launcher.

Finally, Keitai Archive has a comprehensive FAQ with further clarification about our mission, including our non-profit intentions (we do not accept monetary donations) and forms for takedown requests. Thank you for continuing to support keitai game preservation! (6/6)

Fourth, Keitai Wiki isn't going anywhere! It has always been for documenting game information, while Keitai Archive is more focused on the technical side of keitai game preservation. The Keitai Wiki Discord server has been renamed "Keitai World" to encompass both entities. (5/6)

Third, Keitai Archive will not distribute commercially-available keitai games, such as games that are on G-MODE Archives. This is to support publishers who rerelease their keitai games, as well as to avoid possible litigation from said publishers. (4/6)

Second, Keitai Archive will have a quarterly-updating archive.org repo of abandonware keitai games and media. Newly-preserved games will still be accessible through Keitai World Launcher. You can find this repo here: archive.org/details/@kei... (3/6)

First, Keitai Archive aims to have a GitHub repo for the tools used in keitai game preservation work. This includes file system extraction, file conversion, and other tools to access media on Japanese feature phones. This repo is a WIP, but we are actively working on it. (2/6)
