Glad I kept my dead salmon. I knew it would come back into style eventually.

It cost me $3.50 to see a matinee of Jurassic Park when it came out in 1993. This was not a discount second run theater. The evening shows probably cost $5-7 at most.

I was surprised to get so emotional over an episode of What We Do In the Shadows, but I guess being a parent can do that to you.

I just wanted to share this shade of blue, which I find really pretty. It's called International Klein Blue.

For lunch: Prummy Soup

My son made up very few words as a toddler, but one of them was "prummies," which is what he called farfalle pasta. I make this soup that we now call Prummy Soup, and it's amazing. I'm emailing the recipe to friends later this week in my friends newsletter.

Fun Fact! Before crawlers were invented NASA employed giants to transport rockets out to the launch pad! Here, a giant named Vern carries a mighty Saturn IB out to Launch Complex 34 for testing.

NASA discontinued the use of giants because they kept eating the astronauts.

Build the rockets. Fly the rockets. It's later than you think. That mint in bag model rocket kit will be worthless when you're dead.

My #Apollo11 Saturn V shortly before its first launch a few years ago. This thing surprised me by flying as straight as an arrow.

It was a hard build, so I haven't had the guts to fly it a second time, but I should. I can always build another.
