Escaflowne might have been my first anime I watched beyond the realm of Toonami. It felt so cool and new, I loved that show.

Don’t remember too much about it these days. Might be good to go back some time and see what I can recall and how I feel about it now.

I somehow started accumulating Criterion Collection releases once my kid started school, so uh, I can say this is actually a very reasonable path.

I didn’t notice the clip ended, and I thought there was just an unreasonably long awkward pause as Ty grappled internally with all every life event that got him here.
