The mind-set which overlooked this closure without adequate mitigation is very disappointing. Agreed. But we're aware of elected members and officials now exerting pressure on private contractor to resolve the problem. We'll report back when we hear more.

Yet another example of how walking and cycling infrastructure isn’t regarded by the council as all that important. Nice to have but expendable at the drop of a hat.

This is needing escalated! A busy path for green movement shut down potentially for years for a private builder!!! This stinks. Are Edinburgh council working for us or against us?

They've also closed st marks path at Broughton for up to 2 years! Really it's criminal. Edinburgh council is working against us not for us! What action can we take?
