I like tech and good people. No asshats please
Mindless rage is zombie like! Those buggers go on forever.

Hopefully, things will change. Just got to keep challenging it where it’s seen and hope the current gov wakes up to the problems of the economically disenfranchised

The demographic to which they appeal are super angry. It’s Brexit all over again, I’m not sure how that mind shift gets shifted. I’m glad they didn’t win, but they’ll chalk it up as one. Could this be the beginning of the end for Starmer? Will Burnham get a seat in time to make a viable challenge!?

It’s probably unreviewed guidelines written by a bot! If a human being wrote that, and think it’s ok then they need a good kick in the crotch.

The NYT has a suit in play. It’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. Don’t get me wrong, much of the LLM tech is incredibly useful, I’m in awe of what they’ve achieved - I also don’t know what a fair solution to it is. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I

don’t like being pee’d upon and told it’s just rain either

You need a long lat kind of query mate. Get user location (lng, lat pairs) and then run a geo spatial lookup that does a little loop, 5 miles, 10, 15 etc. I used to do stuff like that on distantias. Minus the pub data set 😆

I couldn’t find a means of doing so myself mate…

Amen Terry.

I do wonder where it all goes once the web scrapers start scraping content largely produced by ai. Human publishers won’t write jack once the incentive to do so disappears. Of course, all of their stuff is essentially stolen too. No real consent or recompense to anyone who created it

I hope Google go Blockbuster. They deserve an unhappy ending. Ruthlessness deserves a solid punch in the face.

Maybe the search game is over and A.I. is the way forward. I google less and chatGPT more, because my prompt game is ok and I get more nuanced results. Most of the other stuff /flights/products/hotels/brands etc I know where to go already

The talking heads just commentate. It’s like witnessing a massacre and remarking on the placement of the bullets, but ignoring the devastating impacts of those very same bullets
