These two adopted me for 2-3 days in Angiaak Pass in the Brooks Range. Siblings, likely just kicked out by mom. Magical and nerve-wracking all at the same Twilight Zone time.

I'd like to see Turnip fight a Grizzly with those ineffectual little fists he likes to make at the podium. To make it more of a contest, his male spawn could join forces with him. Popcorn event at the Coliseum. Nothing fatal of course, just enough to give him an idea of what a real tough guy is.

Great shot! I saw my first on the George River in Nunavik. Had just spun into an eddy in the recovery pool below a rapid and it was just sitting in the tippy top of a spruce. I dug my camera out of its waterproof, but trying to shoot from a bobbing canoe didn't turn out the sharpest images.

Nainette and Yogi wrestling in 2009. Yogi just passed away two weeks ago at 16 years old. Nain is now 15 too.
