Almost 16 years to the day, former Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes dismissed Netflix as "the Albanian army."

Drew this cartoon about Doug Pederson exactly nine years ago today (a riff on @kcg.bsky.social now-iconic toon) after the Birds failed to make the playoffs.

The Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl the following year, so what do I know.

Penn State, a land-grant institution, will pay James Franklin about $50 million to NOT coach for the next six seasons.

Meanwhile, the school declined to spend about $17 million to keep WPSU on the air, choosing instead to shutter its public media company.

Game 1 of the NLDS between the Phillies and the Reds/Dodgers will begin at either 6:38 p.m. or 6:08 p.m. Saturday.

Depends on whether the Yankees or Red Sox advance to the ALDS.

In a few hours, ABC will air Jimmy Kimmel's return to late night. Unfortunately, over 1 million households in Pennsylvania won't be able to tune in.

Sinclair and Nexstar, who own ABC-affiliated stations in three of Pennsylvania's six TV markets, are preempting Kimmel's show tonight.

More streaming price hikes coming, this time it's Disney+ and Hulu. This cartoon I drew a few months ago will never be outdated...

As part of my look at ESPN's new direct-to-consumer service, I calculated what it would cost Philly sports fans to stream every game, based on current prices.

Maybe cable TV wasn't that bad of a deal... www.inquirer.com/sports/espn-...
