Overlooked in the Netflix-Warner Bros. debate is the shitty theatrical experience pushed by corporate chains.

Outrageous concession prices, sky-high ticket costs, 30+ minutes of commercials and trailers, lack of maintenance at many theaters.

Love of cinema starts here.

ACA premiums could increase fivefold across the region unless tax credits are extended
Affordable Care Act premiums are estimated to rise across the region if tax credits expire. How much will depend on where people live, how old they are, and what they earn.

Drew this cartoon about Doug Pederson exactly nine years ago today (a riff on @kcg.bsky.social now-iconic toon) after the Birds failed to make the playoffs.

The Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl the following year, so what do I know.

There are about 100 districts across the country that favor Republicans way less than the Tennessee district they nearly lost last night.

Dems will only need to flip two seats to retake the majority in 2026. There are four alone in Pa. and one in N.J. www.inquirer.com/politics/ele...
Republicans barely won in a Trump-friendly Tennessee district. Here’s what it means for Pennsylvania and 2026.
The fact Democrats turned a special election in a deep-red district into a nail-bitter is a bad sign for Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterms.

"This is their season, in some ways," Tony Romo bizarrely says of the Chiefs facing 3rd and goal down 6 with 15 minutes left in the third quarter.

Let's pump the brakes a bit. Especially considering on fourth down, they scored a TD to take the lead.
