I love Sunderland AFC regardless. But when the 8hr round trip is actually worth it, it's extra special ❤️🤍❤️ #SAFC

I'm hearing for true accuracy more clients should be paying for me to go to my local pub. It'd be a tough ask, but I'm ready to rise to the challenge 🫡
Keir Starmer tells of the night John Prescott infamously punched a member of the public.

"Labour campaigners were anxiously dispatched to the most accurate focus group that there is: the pub.

"Reports were clear. The public had his back, just as he'd always had theirs."

In England, an estimated 75 per cent of adults over 65 will face care expenses during their lifetime, with one-in-seven incurring costs of more than £100,000.

Despite this, most people aren’t planning for future care costs.

He’s right on the problem that election coverage becomes dominated by “who is going to win?” bumpf. But banning polling would just result in the same coverage with an even thinner evidence base.
Opinion polls are inaccurate, distort political debate and should be banned during the final weeks of an election campaign.

That’s the view of the strategist who led the British Conservative Party’s operations in 2024 and 2019.

This is hardly groundbreaking news, the winter fuel allowance keeps coming up in completely unrelated focus groups in swing seats — even among politically disengaged voters. With Scottish Labour rolling back, how long can Starmer really hold out? The 100k number in relative poverty will cut through.
