Seems like this moves & the state's similar moves will eventually damage UF's position as a leading academic institution. Converting New College into Hillsdale College South doesn't seem to be going well & would expect such a conversion would go worse for a multidisciplinary university such as UF.

Had the opportunity to hear Dr. Parten speak about his book earlier this year. Good speaker and the book is a great read, even for a non-historian like me. I reference (and attribute) info from his book/talk while docent-ing at the Green-Meldrim House in #SavannahGA. #GreenMeldrimSAV

It was most helpful to me after Ep 1 - will have to recheck it for more voice/character updates.

I often state "I am not a historian" leading tours, though I did make A's in collegiate history classes & am a proud "historian parent!"

Hard to believe the Venezuelan support remains since the loss of TPS for many Venezuelans was just a matter of time.

It's a hopeful thought that having more balanced representation on the PSC could be a plus (but perhaps just a pipe dream in today's highly partisan world!). Also, I thought a heard another seat would be open in 2026 (in addition to one of the ones from this election). So there's that potential...

Fast, low cost or quality - the old saying is you can only get 2 outta 3 of these on a project. Will be surprised if this project achieves 1 of these. 2/

So sad. And the engineer in me is saying it's less 10 months since Trump was inaugurated - seems very fast (but possible, I guess) to move through design, contractor selection, materials procurement, etc. Common saying - cheap, fast or good; you can only get 2 of these.
