If the CPI is 2% but your non-ACA health insurance premiums are going up 20% for worse coverage and a higher deductible, no wonder people think the official indicators are completely bogus.

The whole "educate and demonstrate" is so blatantly offensive. Like people are too stupid to figure out how to make a ranked list of anything without a full blown course.

If a politician says inflation is "only" 2 percent and the voters' response is "then why is everything more expensive than it's ever been?" the two sides aren't speaking the same language.

I admittedly didn't take the vibecession seriously enough in 2024 but man it feels like things are WAY worse in 2025.
