150,000+ US tech workers were laid off in 2023, and now we are at roughly the same number this past year. I guess tanking the pay over the past few decades by prioritizing hiring H1-Bs to replace them didn't generate enough profit. There should be more noise about this, but they own the media.

The rabbit r1 is becoming surprisingly useful. I may soon be able to teach it to drive one of my robots around with the newest feature. I wish it wouldn't burn through battery so quickly when it's idle.

Kinda surreal using this after being one of the earlier Twitter users having watched it devolve into anarchy. It's nice to see posts that are interesting and normal conversation versus... you know. Nostalgia.
