Incredible Hulk: Monster Road. This ends this chapter of the Hulk, before leading into Infernal Hulk. This series started out fairly interesting but the further it went with The Mother of Horrors story and lore, the less interested I became. A book about Hulk fighting monsters shouldn’t be boring.

Dynamite wraps up their Kings Features story and I’m sad to see it end. This series was a lot of fun, and felt like a great introduction to the characters with a new world to explore.
That’s the way it goes with licensed characters.

It’s a wild ride and weirdly enough, it’s accessible even if you haven’t read 100 Bullets. Still a lot of fun to see Lono back again.

By my count, the Absolute books are 5/5. Ewing and Lindsay take all the GL mythos and spin it into a new sci-fi/spiritual story. Really dug this book.

Of the Absolute books I’ve read so far, Martian Manhunter is the one that’s furthest removed from its original source material and it might be my favorite.
