Forgot to say how many people... My group usually has between 5-7 players+me for a given game.

I'm the DM for 95%+ of what we play, but occasionally someone else cooks up a one-shot or a 3/4 session game.

I'm big on d% systems. My go-to after leaving D&D was call of Cthulhu. These days I'm running Mothership, which I really recommend.

Part of the problem is that D&D is a complicated system that takes ages for lots of people to really feel a mastery over. People don't know how easy other systems can be until you run stuff for them.
