Yeah I keep seeing them around. There was also a Skeleton Crew Experience in the Metrocentre this weekend

I would love to be able to buy the Rex pin, all your pin designs are incredible though

I embraced my skeleton crew and recorded the opening from a the vastness of space

I also want to say that while I adore the original design and its still my favourite I do really like the Mando designs and I think the Skeleton Crew look especially is fantastic

At a guess I'd say they're wanting to integrate things from the R3X look, rebels look and maybe this bit of concept art from the halcyon

Also the neck wire, BRING BACK THE NECK WIRE DISNEY YOU COWARDS (I do appreciate the extra neck details in skeleton crew though)

Theres also a couple of minor details like the mando designs having head stripes which the originals don't (I think they look pretty good but I don't need them everywhere)

I think that the face plates are also thicker on the mando designs which makes the eyes stick out less but it's hard to tell. I also want to note I do really like the current eye design

Difference number 3 is the eyes. All the Mando droids have eye covers but some have just straight lines over the eyes, horizontal or vertical and some (like skeleton crew) have more covered eyes with just some slits. The original doesn't have any lines covering them and sticks out a bit more

The next big difference is the mouth piece, the mouth on the mandoverse has the weird almost clover like design while on the original its the horizontal lines (also the gold mouth looks great, I hope it comes back)

I think the biggest difference is that the lower piece of the head sticks out way more more and is at a far sharper angle in the original design. Also the mouth sticks out way more in the original and is way rounder
