3) He's hiding. The reason he's asking the DOJ to reopen an investigation into Epstein is so they can withhold the files as part of the investigation. This is the same game he played with his tax returns. We're not going to see the files, and if we do, it will be selective distraction.

2) He's stalling. This vote is to *force* the DOJ to release the files, but Trump could simply direct the DOJ to do so. If he actually supported it, he would have released the files months ago as he and countless others in his cabinet promised.

A 12% reduction in your mortgage payment to end up paying for a house nearly a whole additional time over. And if you buy your house at 40 years old, at 75 you’d be half way paid off, and 90 when you finally get your deed to the house.

In contrast, with a 50yr loan, you would pay about $1,810 per month (+tax/insurance), and $742k in interest over the life of the loan, effectively paying nearly 3X the cost of the home at $1,172,500 total to pay $250 less per month. It would take 35 years to own half of your home.

With a 30yr loan, you would pay about $2,060 per month (+tax/insurance), and $398k in interest over the life of the loan, so you’d effectively pay almost 2X the cost of the home at $828,500 total out of pocket. It would take 18 years to own half of your home.

Here’s an example using today’s median home price of $430k, median interest rate of 6.2%, and we’ll assume a 20% ($86k) down payment, so $344k loan. Since tax and insurance varies, we’ll leave those out, so the mortgage payments would be higher than I’m listing below.

Donating food can help as well, but donating money gives food banks more flexibility to purchase what's most needed, and to better manage inventory. We don't know how long this regime is going to play politics with people's food, but we can be there for our neighbors in the meantime.

40% of SNAP recipients are children. 20% are seniors, some of whom also care for children. We need to take action, and I don't just mean at the ballot box.
Please, if you can afford it, let's flood our local foodbanks with funds to help bridge the gap in SNAP benefits.

Moral of the story, you can't reach people who don't want to be reached. You can debate policy, you can debate opinions, but you can't debate faith with people whose identity is wrapped up in a cult.

I was 99% sure this would be a waste of time, but gave it a go, providing nearly 20 examples for him. He didn't reply, just unfriended me, then (weirdly) re-added me. I assume he thought of a zinger we wanted to deliver, but chickened out and instead blocked me.
