I just bought a (very small) Gee Bend quilt at the #kentuck art fair so that makes me a real Alabamian now?
Large quilt square with one inch of white border, then one of navy then two of bright red, the two of a white with red and blue flowers with green leaves, then two inches of navy. Inside the final navy is horizontal stripes of one flower strip one red strip one flower one navy one flower one red one flower

Confession- yesterday was the first time I’d seen the birth suite since it was finalized. I LOVE it!
Small room with graige walls and light wood plank looking flooring. A large window I the blinds is the the center, and in front of it is a neatly made white metal framed double bed with white bedding covered in rainbow print flowers and birds. A black leather armchair is in the left back corner with an orange and white quilt folded and laying over its back. A large turquoise birthing pool (empty) is in the front left, and the end of a white bureau can be seen on the front right. Different angle taken from the leather armchair with bed in the left corner, tub in right edge. It front is the white long bureau with framed photos and a baby scale on it. Next to it on the left is a cart of monitors and supplies. Between the cart and bed is the closed brown wood door that leads to the private bath.

I don't think I can properly convey how bad this is. Thank goodness they are still accepting applications, since there's only 15 days every 3 months this is open. But if they don't process them? That is a whole world of hurt for new programs.

However, HRSA staff will not be available to process the registrations or provide technical assistance.

Took way too long but feels so very good....

Because I think in a lot of ways, THIS is the actual problem:
