Healthcare is a human right. Why would the second richest state in the richest country in the world have a system where people are denied care when they need it the most? We have the resources to do better. I know where I stand.

I will do everything in my power to protect full health coverage for all Texans, because no one should be denied care because of a condition they did not choose. No one should have to fight an insurance company to get the care they need to survive.

As one neighbor aptly said tonight, if we don't take our voting power seriously, then we will never see positive transformation.
