Horrific terrorist attack in Australia that killed at least 15 innocent people as they celebrated the first night of Hanukkah. Joy and community should never be shattered with such terror.

Well, yet another tragic weekend of headlines. My heart goes out to the victims of the shootings at Brown University and Bondi Beach in Australia. Let’s put a stop to the corruption that's obstructing any progress towards a safer society that is better for ALL Americans, ALL people, not just a few.

Thank you so much to my dear friend Nicole Miller (and her sweet family) for having me at her home today.

It was such a great time speaking to members of my Del Curto community to answer questions and to hear their concerns and thoughts for Austin and Texas.

A newbie candidate (me!) getting some advice from a pro. Thanks, Beto!

SCOTUS (unsurprisingly) allows Texas gerrymandering for 2026 Midterms, clearing the way for Texas to use its newly redrawn racially biased congressional map in the 2026 midterm elections. What are your thoughts on the Supreme Court's highly politicized decision?

Thanksgiving brings time of reflection and generosity. Yesterday, Andy and I joined his Trinity school community to make and deliver meals and clothing supplies for Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a seriously #greatidea.

Throughout every step of my career, I have fought for dignity, justice, and opportunity, and I'm not stopping now. I believe that everyone deserves a free and safe life, and that's why I'm running for State Representative for Texas House District 49.

I have traveled the world and seen people fight just for the right to vote. Our democracy is too precious to waste on tearing each other down. So I'm calling out the bullying and negative rhetoric coming out of the White House. It is entirely un-American.

It’s time to choose unity over division.

I worked with Texas universities and community colleges when I ran the Texas International Education Consortium. Did you know that Austin Community College has a free tuition pilot program for high school grads? We need to think about how we resource CCs to educate our students and workforce for AI.

Reflection on mental health for our military as Veterans Day comes to a close. Thanks to all who serve for their sacrifice and dedication to this nation.

Cold evening hanging out with the dog and thinking about women’s health care in Texas. Protecting a woman’s right to make decisions for herself has been at the epicenter of my career - from civil rights law, to international #humanrights programs, to fighting human trafficking. #robin4texas
