Not sure I agree. You just have to walk around Germany's major cities to know that immigration is a problem and I personally don't feel safe in many situations, which is something I never used to worry about. I think this is a genuine issue unfortunately.

There's nothing racist about wanting to reform the immigration system in Germany, which is broken. That's not an issue that's unique to Germany. The asylum laws in many places allow lots of economic refugees to take advantage of them, when they are intended for protection of political refugees...

I don't understand this argument, though I do hear it a lot. Why do you think the CDU confronting immigration helps the AfD?

Actually no. It's countries like Sweden, Norway and Denmark that are really massively stepping up with aid to Ukraine, plus obviously Germany and the UK. The Euro zone - especially highly indebted countries like Italy and Spain - are not at all living up to their responsibility, which I flag here...
