I also find the term “shareholder primacy” very fittings. Its origin is quite fascinating as well.

Sure you can also just ask them, but when they're talking to your chatbot they're actually in the moment trying to achieve a specific goal.

In the same vein, I always found @deno.land's http imports kinda silly

But in the age of llms, being able to have everything contained in a single file without the need of a package.json makes generating prototypes a lot more convenient.

That’s fair. I think some do it for the reasons I mentioned above without being totally dependent on having that job. Which can be a great feeling.
They also might just be romanticizing the barista job expecting it to be less stressful.

Why do you think this is odd? A part time job can provide a routine and will also ensure you have contact humans regularly while getting some money and more importantly health insurance.
