The Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby (chuckwagon races). The canvases covering the wagon are auctioned to sponsors - pretty big $$. DeHavilland Canada bought THREE & they are promoting the Waterbomber, Twin Otter and -- SHERPA!! Are they getting serious about resurrecting the Shorts? #avgeek

But using an inflation calculator is somewhat misleading (although I do it too) as it doesn't account for the lower fares today. OW Main Cabin on AA shows as $863 for 16 June
