Typical response from Fed Farmers, ignore the actual problems with their industry and shift blame to others, label rules as “Wellington bureaucracy” etc. Facts are facts, you’re more likely to be harmed or killed working on a farm or in the agricultural/forestry sectors than any other job in nz.

To be honest, the US customs and border agency has always been a reliably fascistic entity. Now it seems like the collar is off somewhat and they are now not just grilling non-US citizens but also people who may speak out against the US govt from within.
