Lots of rhubarb picked before the heat of the day arrived, giving younger rhubarb time to grow before summer's temperatures burn the foliage, hopefully sugarcane mulch helps with water retention

Some of the ginger harvested today as soils finally dried enough
At nearly $30 a kilo at the supermarket, my neighbours were happy to receive a few chunks
If only I had as much success growing garlic as I do with ginger and Chilli peppers 😋

Somehow, this Serrano plant has produced 2 ripe pods during our winter
It's not in full sun like a couple of other pepper plants, and we've had a lot of rain recently
Hopefully come spring in September it'll perk up with fertilizer and warmth 🌶️🌱
