Bo Ningen were an immense live show and they looked like no one else (think hip length hair and dresses). Album probably isn't a top 5 contender though.

During this period I'd given up on being a musician, and then ended up having my most successful years, getting to tour the US for 2 months, and playing support shows with Paolo Nutini, Train, Foy Vance. And meeting my wife.

I'm coming to a realisation that this period for me was good. But not great. I have two great albums as my 1 2, then a big long list of albums all about as good as each other which I can't decide for the bottom 3 places

Various were pretty innovative in the 80s, but I didn't like the albums when they reformed without the original singer in the 2000s
