A lot of people will cry about the #Panthers going to the playoffs with an 8-9 record but I will say this: since 1995 (the year the Panthers were established) the Buffalo Bills have been to the playoffs 11 times and have never made it to the Superbowl. So maybe your teams should stop trying so hard.

Officiating cost the #Panthers the game. As did Canales' inconsistencies again. Young made the throws to give them a chance at the end. Third down defense was pitiful, as was pass rush + containment on Mayfield. All eyes on Atlanta.

Dave Canales offered up an interesting nugget on former Clemson standout Isaiah Simmons on Tuesday.

After years of tweener usage, the 2020 first-round pick is working at safety for the #Panthers.

@charlotteobserver.com spoke with Simmons about that setup:

Isaiah Simmons is in his first month with the Panthers. Simmons told The Charlotte Observer he wishes he had a similar setup his entire career.

Bryce Young has more game-winning drives than any QB in the league since 2023. He's one short of Jake Delhomme's single-season record from 2003.

And every time he does it, the confidence in him grows.

Another game-winning drive for Bryce Young, and they're getting used to it
For the sixth time this season and the 12th in his career (most in the league since 2023), Young led his team to a late win. And with every one, the confidence in him, and the team as a whole grows.

Something I'm noticing with Canales: he is so laser-focused on the play-call that he is ignoring the game clock, which costs the #Panthers on that final offensive drive.

It might be crazy, but it's the observation I have at the moment.

Carolina gets the ball to start the 2H.

I like the calculated aggression from Canales in short-yardage situations on those downs.
