And when you're dealing with political dinners, the cost shoots way up because these also because of the fundraising aspect Years ago when I was a candidate for State legislature, I attended a lot of those. The price often varied based on how close one was to the prominent guest.

You are absolutely correct. Thank you for pointing that out. I was trying to fit everything in BlueSky's character limit and carelessly dropped the "sauce". There's a big difference.
l also didn't mention "chippy sauce" (salt and sauce) common in Edinburgh and the surrounding area.
