My family is leaving Spotify.

I hope you will consider doing so as well.

This is an interesting phenomenon. I play roughly the same online and in person, I’d say, except for games with high player counts. Those I definitely play better online, presumably because my autistic brain needn’t deal with the flood of incomprehensible data from other players’ faces and tones.

A dark game, and unlike anything else I have played. I played it at a con with my eldest child, a history major. We lost badly. We both found it satisfying, and would play it again.

100% agree. Neither in Gaza nor the USA.

I fear this completely true.

Hmm. How do I convey my thoughts to the other players? Simply state my conclusions? (In general, I’m sceptical about this. But hey, that’s just me.)
I feel differently when playing with only 1 person I am close to. My wife and I play Fog of Love (but her social contract is we are playing ourselves).

I am an introvert w/ mild autism, which I think is part of my discomfort with spontaneous storytelling & loosely defined mechanics. (I say this knowing that my mildly-autistic eldest is a natural thespian who loves RPGs, as well as board games).

I will chime in as someone who does not enjoy any RPG element in board games. Even mild ones. I played a Cthulu game in which I was shocked that I could use foresight to see the next threat but couldn’t say what it the card was - I had to describe it in vague terms (“roleplay it”, my friend said).

I enjoy your commentary, and honestly, when I see you’re on the team I am more likely to tune in (although I don’t always)

Shouldn’t the creatures have haste? (Although then I suppose the card would be rare)

But first, delete your Spotify account (to show them the loss).

Exactly that. That’s the main problem.
