I genuinely couldn’t be happier! I shall now say that missing episode recoveries are dead in the water, and wait for the universe to answer. :)

I really enjoyed listening to that! Thanks, Phil and Scott - I’m so glad you had fun with Chimes!

It certainly counts! Now we just have to persuade everyone else. :)

I have a vague idea of how I’d set about doing it - I think it would be fun to try! So if anyone asked me, I’d definitely be tempted.

It’s got more Dalek stuff in it, but considerably less plum pudding. You pay your money, you take your chances.

Oh, thank you so much! I had an absolute blast writing it!

Enjoy! I shamelessly admit it, I am really proud of the Chimes novel. Let me know what you think - good or bad!

Ha! It was the typo that gave it authenticity! Thanks, Aimee - I was so nervous writing the books that those who really liked the original audios might get bored and feel I was boiling my cabbages twice! So it’s a relief that both audio and novel pass the test.

I’ll read them to you if you like. I’ll even do the funny voices.

Stay away from the plum pudding. Trust me. You don’t know where it’s been.

I certainly don’t! And I would put money upon the series being back on our screens very soon - it’s just too exciting to throw away. I never claimed it wouldn’t be - my remarks weren’t about Doctor Who’s future but its curious narrative present, and have been taken out of context for clickbait.

Not at all! If anything you were very complimentary - I wrote one TV ep 20 years ago, and I have no inside info at all. I was rather horrified when I saw my comments in print because they were very awkwardly expressed. And thank you for being so clear and thoughtful in your own response to it!

I absolutely agree with you. I have no doubt whatsoever Doctor Who will be back, and sooner rather than later. My comments really weren’t about that at all, but the first time we’ve been given a (temporary) narrative full stop. That’s all.

Thanks so much, Iain - I’m really pleased you’re enjoying it! I still recall the honour of you making reference to Chimes of Midnight in an issue of the Dandy 20 odd years ago - that’ll always be the best version of the story!

I’m up to my ears in deadlines at the moment - I didn’t realise you wanted an explanation! Give me a week and I’ll have a think and see what I can do.
